“You want me to choose just one?”
Balthazar rubbed his temples. “Yes. For the hundredth time.”
He was getting fed up, but I just didn’t understand. Ignoring his sighs, I looked at the boxes again.
“So, I choose a box, get in it and stay there?”
“Yes. Please just choose one and get in it.” He was almost begging me now.
“But what if I don’t want to?” Waving at the line of containers I annoyed him further, “What if I want to be an actor today but a scientist tomorrow? Can I get out of my box and swap?”
